LOVE that top photo! Sad but beautiful. And the rest show possessions and treasures now long forgotten and past their prime. Nicely done!

I do indeed remember where it is and the top photo is superb, Sue! I surely wouldn't have recognized it without your cluing me in!! It is sad to see, but all your shots are terrific, they really do tell the story! Hope you're enjoying a great weekend!

what a wonderful series of shadows. The one of the rusty can-opener with those great angles and sharp contrasts is my favourite. That top shot could almost be an abandoned farmhouse in Australia.

Sad to see an old dilapidated house but it does make a great photo. All the shots are excellent. Mickie

These ravages of time make an intriguing collection of shadows! Fascinating shadowy tones and shapes and textures!

It's sad to see abandoned houses, but what great subjects they make for alert and sensitive photographers, of which you are one!

MANY SHADOW-SEEKERS SAY

Many shadow-seekers say,
“Oh, the one that got away!”
Why are you so uptight, folks?
Can’t you take light’s little jokes?
